Beach Series Sea Lavender Watercolor, 21"x28" Sea Lavender (Limonium carolinian) has long been used by florists as a bouquet filler. It grows just around the high tide mark in salt marshes. The tiny purple blooms usually appear in early August. Sea Lavender tends to grow in mass creating a purple mist during the bloom season that lines the borders, open sandy areas and pathways of the salt marsh.
